The building is located in the Historic Center of Porto in front of Jardim da Cordoaria.

The proposed concept for the Rehabilitation of the building was based on the preservation of the elements that were in a good state of conservation, the recreation of other elements that were very degraded and the reformulation of the design of the recessed body, which assumed a more transparent image.

This concept also included the option to demolish the addition made in the middle of the century. XX in an attitude of imitation of preexistence, which was replaced by a new construction with a more contemporary language, with zinc sheet, which ends at the height of the neighboring building.

In the interior, the carpentries and differentiating elements, such as fireplaces, worked ceilings and details on the floors, have been fully renovated.
