The space
The house is located in the historic center of Porto, World Heritage of UNESCO, in the oldest neighborhood of the city. Is part of a building with 3 dwellings rehabilitated in May 2015.
The house is about 45sqm and it’s a duplex. It is equipped with a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa with two single beds in the living room, a bathroom and kitchen fully equipped. Ideal for 2 or 4 people.
The location is privileged to discover the historic center of Porto on foot. Just a few meters are two of the most beautiful sights of the city. If you prefer to use the metro, the station of S. Bento is just 5 minutes away. At the same distance, going down towards the Douro River, you will be in Ribeira, and crossing the bridge D. Luiz you can visit the Oporto wine cellars.
Nearby there are several monuments to visit, such as Palácio da Bolsa, Casa do Infante, São Francisco church and Torre dos Clérigos, all less than 10 minutes away.
In the center, there is a huge variety of bars and typical Portuguese restaurants to choose from, so you can find the various options, from simple and traditional to the most sophisticated and contemporary.
By bus or tram you can easily reach the beaches of Foz.
For nightlife, we recommend the Galerias de Paris Street which is a 10 min walk in uptown.

Guest access
The house has independent entrance in direct contact with a picturesque square.. Access to the house is done with code. The neighborhood has very steep streets, like the rest of the city. Be prepared to do some gymnastics! Cars don’t reach our street, because we are in the middle of the historic center.

Other things to note
In the neighbourhood only live local people from Porto. Be prepared to listening to some Fado and portuguese music during the day.
